It's so sad that some people don't particularly like culture-ish things like musicals. My husband in particular.

Luckily, I have girlfriends and sisters willing to do those "oh-so-boring" things - like seeing Mary Poppins!!

The tickets are purchased and we're going on Sunday! WOO HOO!!

  1. How fun. I love musicals and missed being employed because every couple of months, my sister, friend and I would go into NYC for a very yummy dinner at a restaurant one of us would want to try and see a play.

It was the best. Sniff, sniff. I miss it.

Another note - thanks for the recipe. My sister was surprised I'd never had hashbrown casserole and had to remind her SHE lived in Atlanta, not me.

I can't wait to try it.

  2. Hmmm, ok ... once again I have to side with your hub, as scary as that is. I'm not a fan of musicals for the most part, either. I do love Moulin Rouge, but I'm not a fan of Mary Poppins. It's always seemed cheesy to me, even as a kid. I am sure, the musical lover in you will love it though, and I hope you have a fabulous time!

  3. This musical is NOT the DISNEY version, Ang. You're going to be surprised. A bit more of a horror movie for kids, actually. Watch it, the toys are coming after ya.
